How do I get my addresses from my Palm phone to my new Windows Mobile phone?
I've got the Palm Treo HotSync data on my computer and the new device (with Active Sync) installed but I don't know how to get my addresses and phone numbers to my new phone. Please help!
The easiest way I've found to move from smartphone to smartphone is to use outlook to bridge the gap. Make sure you have all your contacts, calander, etc, etc up to date in outlook and activesync will allow you to sync that to your new treo. In most cases if you don't use outlook, its not too difficult to import an address book into outlook from another program. Just Export the address book from the other program to a file.
